• Basics Box for everyday life: office work, browsing, development and always-on apps. Dependable and affordable.
• Gaming Box Lite for session gamers. You get a full RTX GPU while you play; when idle, we can allocate it elsewhere until you need it again, keeping the price lower.
• Gaming Box for gamers who want their PC always ready. Same gaming power, on 24/7, so downloads and updates run while you're away.
• GPU Box for enthusiasts and creators. The whole machine is physically yours, so you get maximum performance for gaming, streaming, rendering and AI work with zero limits.

The next-generation Hyper Box arrives in Q1 2027.

All three stream desktop-class gaming to any device. The difference is how they run:

• Gaming Box Lite powers up when you start playing and sleeps after a short period of inactivity. Your games and files are always saved, and the lower price reflects that it only runs while you play.
• Gaming Box is the same machine, always on 24/7. No shutdown timers and no power-up wait, so downloads and updates run while you're away.
• GPU Box is fully dedicated hardware. The whole machine is physically yours around the clock, with no sharing at any level, for maximum performance in gaming, streaming and creative work.

Play in sessions? Lite is great value. Always ready? Gaming Box. Zero compromises? GPU Box.

No, that's the point. All the heavy lifting happens on your box in our UK data centre, and your device just streams the picture.

An ageing laptop, a tablet, a phone or even a Smart TV works perfectly. Any device with a screen and an internet connection becomes a high-end PC.

All activations are fully automatic and complete within 5 minutes of payment. You can follow your box's activation journey in real time through the Fire App. On the rare occasion something goes wrong with automatic setup, our team steps in and gets you sorted as a priority.

Connect from any device with an internet connection: Windows, Mac, iPhone, iPad, Android phones and tablets, Chromebooks, Linux and even Smart TVs. Use our own Fire App, Parsec, Moonlight, or built-in Windows RDP.

Our own in-house data centre in Wiltshire, plus colocation space in the Midlands. All of it in the UK, which means ultra-low latency for UK users, strong performance across Europe and full compliance with UK data protection law.

At least 5 Mbps for basic use, 10 Mbps+ for smooth office work and 25 Mbps+ for gaming. Upload matters too: 5 Mbps+ keeps controls responsive.

No. Every plan is month-to-month and you can cancel anytime with one click. You keep access until your paid period ends, with no hidden fees or cancellation charges.

Yes. If you're not happy within the first 48 hours, you get a full refund. That's time enough to test performance and connectivity and make sure your cloud PC does what you need.

Every box ships with Windows 11 pre-installed but unactivated. Windows licensing isn't included in your subscription, so you bring your own licence (BYOL).

The smoothest route is a Microsoft subscription that includes rights for hosted environments, such as Windows 11 Enterprise E3/E5, Microsoft 365 F3/E3/E5 or Windows VDA E3/E5. Sign in with your Microsoft (Entra) account and Windows activates automatically.

Worth knowing: a standalone retail or OEM key may show Windows as "activated", but that doesn't necessarily mean hosted use is properly licensed under Microsoft's terms. You're responsible for the Microsoft licensing your use requires. Fire Power Cloud provides the infrastructure only.

Anything that runs on Windows 11: Microsoft Office, Visual Studio, games, media servers, development tools, business applications and more. You have full administrator access, so set it up exactly how you like. Our terms of service cover usage guidelines.

Most cloud PC and cloud gaming services split one physical server into many virtual slices. Each customer gets a fraction of a shared CPU and GPU, managed by a hypervisor that adds overhead and can be affected by other users on the same server. "Dedicated" or "bare-metal" is the opposite: the physical CPU and GPU are yours alone, with no virtualization layer in between.

On Fire Power Cloud:

• GPU Box is our only fully dedicated, bare-metal machine. The next-generation Hyper Box joins it in Q1 2027.
• Basics Box and Basics Box Ultra are dedicated virtual machines. They share hardware, but they're always on and never overallocated.
• Gaming Box runs on shared gaming hardware. Lite powers down between sessions, the standard Gaming Box stays on 24/7. Always-on, but not bare-metal.

The original Hyper Box has been retired to make way for its successor. The next-generation Hyper Box arrives in Q1 2027 with the same mini-PC format, fully dedicated hardware, powerful AMD processors and on-board NPUs. Join the waitlist on the Hyper Box page to be first to know.
